Public Meeting - Possible Closure of Elementary Schools
Due to decreased enrollment, the Canyons School District is considering the closure of one or more schools along with the associated school boundary changes. Two of those schools, Granite Elementary and Park Lane Elementary, are within the boundaries of historic Granite.
The District is hosting two open house meetings to discuss the possible closure of one elementary school either Granite or Park Lane. These meetings are an important opportunity for the community and families to learn more, ask questions, and share feedback with the district.
Wednesday, October 15 | 6:00–7:00 p.m.
Granite Elementary
9760 South 3100 East, Sandy
Tuesday, October 28 | 6:00–7:00 p.m.
Park Lane Elementary
